Inaugural ACE Consumer Panel Meeting
OAS is pleased to be involved in this panel, a small but necessary step in giving healthcare consumers a voice, and consider their inputs when making decisions aimed at making drugs and treatments available and affordable to patients. This is in addition to, amongst other projects, consultation with the panel members on health education materials, both for general purposes, and specific conditions.

Supplies for distribution
Dear member,
OAS has been collecting donated stoma supplies from members. We have currently a list of 80+ items available for distribution to the members.
Criteria:
1) This is only available for OAS members.
2) Each member can pick 25 pieces of multiple items (max 5 pieces of same item).
3) The selected items will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
4) We will acknowledge your request and we will send the items to you by July 2022.

Healthy Conversations – Ostomy & Mental Health
Join the first part of Healthy Conversations series – bringing together ostomates, nurses and caregivers. While getting an ostomy can solve many of the physical challenges that made an ostomate sick, it does not instantly heal all the mental anguish in this journey. Hear from expert speakers such as Dr Gilbert Fan and Sister Angela Liew on practical tips to manage mental health as ostomates. Together we have conversations that matter!

Distribution of Ostomy Supplies to Members
We concluded our very first exercise of direct distribution of ostomy supplies to our members.
A total of 26 members benefitted from this exercise. We would like to thank all the donors who have made this possible.
A big shout out to the volunteers drivers, who covered 3 zones and completed the distribution in two days! Also, our thanks and gratitude to the volunteer core team, and all volunteers for pitching in to make this exercise a successful one.
