This is a new segment that we will be featuring in our website, where we hear first-person accounts from our members, about their experience with the various aspects of their treatment for their condition, as well as managing all the challenges while living with the condition.
Our very first contributor is none other than Joan Heng, our Vice President. While facing up the immense challenges that she is struggling with, she has not only found time to contribute to the running of the association but has also taken time to pen this letter.
So here is the heartfelt story of the brave, and inspirational, Joan Heng.
