The Blue March 2024

March isn’t just another month; it’s a time to shine a spotlight on Colorectal Cancer Awareness. Here in Singapore, Colorectal Cancer is the leading cancer for both men and women combined, but it’s also the most preventable among all cancers.

On 24th March , we gathered at Bishan Park for The Blue March. There was a good turnout, marking Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and a call to action, beckoning the community to unite, raise awareness, and take charge of their health. A heartfelt thanks to all the incredible friends of @ostomysg who stood shoulder to shoulder, bringing not only themselves but their families and even their furry companions to support our cause.

Together, we’re not just walking; we’re marching towards a future where Colorectal Cancer is no longer a threat, armed with knowledge, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and the unwavering support of our community.

Mental health can significantly affect individuals living with a condition or illness, influencing their overall well-being, coping mechanisms, and treatment outcomes.

The Changi General Hospital (CGH) – Ostomy Association of Singapore (OAS) Year End Celebration 2023 brought together patients, carers, nurses, doctors, industry partners and volunteers to celebrate Mental Wealth.

All support group members from the Alliance of Colorectal Support Groups (and the Liver & Pancreas Support Groups) and their caregivers were also invited – from Singapore General Hospital, Singapore Cancer Society and TTSH.

It was a fun-filled morning with awesome performances and an informative sharing on Mindfulness.
Many thanks to the organising team, all the performers, our industry partners and awesome volunteers for making this event a huge success.
